En febrero, junto a los voluntarios de Banistmo, se han construído dos parques en el área de Panamá Oeste. El primer parque, junto a 25 voluntarios, fue construido en El Naranjal de Chepo, donde se atienden a 45 estudiantes. El segundo parque se construyó en Catrigandí junto a 23 voluntarios de Banistmo, donde se benefician 21 estudiantes. En los dos preescolares se pintaron murales junto a SembrArte.

Parks with Banistmo: Catrigandí & El Naranjal

In February, with the lending hands of Banistmo volunteers, United Way Panama built two parks in the area of Panama Oeste. The first park, along with 25 volunteers, was built in El Naranjal of Chepo, where 45 students attend. The second park was built in Catrigandí with 23 volunteers from Banistmo, where students 21 attend. In both preschools, along with SembrArte murals were painted.

Junto a 10 voluntarios de P&G Panamá, se llevó a cabo la construcción de un parque y pintura de mural en el CEFACEI Quiero Aprender, en el área de Chilibre – Las Cumbres. Este preescolar atiende a 52 niños.

The Playground Movement

Along with 10 volunteers from P&G Panama, United Way Panama carried out the construction of a park and mural-painting in the CEFACEI Quiero Aprender in the area of Chilibre – Las Cumbres. This preschool serves 52 children.

Febrero fue un mes de remodelaciones de infraestructura en los preescolares adoptados por United Way Panamá. Gracias al continuo compromiso de P&G Panamá, se llevaron a cabo remodelaciones en los CEFACEI de Quiero Aprender, La Primavera, & Cativá.

Remodelings in the Quiero Aprender, La Primavera, & Cativá Preschools

February was a month of renovations of infrastructure in preschools adopted by United Way Panama. Thanks to the continued commitment of P&G Panama, renovations were carried out in the CEFACEI Quiero Aprender, La Primavera, & Cativá.

El pasado 20 de Febrero se llevó a cabo la graduación del Primer Diplomado Perspectiva
Psicopedagógica en la Primera Infancia, del cual 28 maestras y promotoras de CEFACEI, COIF, Cruz Roja, y del sector oficial recibieron su diploma.

En este diplomado, las maestras completaron diferentes módulos que cubren temas de  primera infancia, y son herramientas para mejorar sus enseñanzas

28 Teachers Graduate from Early Childhood Certificate

On February 20, a graduation was held for the 28 graduates from United Way Panama’s
Certificate in Early Childhood Development in partnership with ISAE Universidad.

Teachers from different community preschool and official schools participated in the program, including CEFACEI, COIF, and the Red Cross. In this diploma, teachers completed various modules covering topics of early childhood, and graduated with tools necessary to improve their teaching.
