On Saturday, June 13th, accompanied Panama United Way volunteers CITI Panama to celebrate the Global Community Day School in the Elena Ch. Of Pinate.
The Parvulario Jesús Pan de Vida was remodeled thanks to P&G!
On June 4th, United Way Panama with volunteers from P&G’s Beauty, conducted a medical tour and a hand washing workshop in Cativá, Colón, serving more than 130 children.
 
 
 
  Congratulations to the graduates of Born Learning’s last workshop!
On June 3rd, 25 teachers from Panama’s central provinces graduated from United Way Panama’s Born Learning workshop "Collaborative Methodologies for the Teaching of Literacy and Mathematics in Preschool”.
 
  NEO Panama Alliance: An initiative to improve the quality of the workforce and the employability of young people
New Employment Opportunities (NEO) - a pioneering partnership between business, civil society and government, created by the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF), the International Youth Foundation (IYF) and five of the leading employers in the region.
 
  United Way Panama participated in the National Meeting for Associates & Administrators of Infoplazas
Mercedes Eleta de Brenes, president of United Way Panama, was one of the speakers at the National Meeting for Associates and directors of the Infoplazas.
 
  The second phase of listening to the community started!
On June 27th, the Global Shapers Panama Hub with the support of United Way Panama, began implementing the second phase of the "Listening to the Community” project at the Elena Ch. de Pinate School and the Instituto Dr. Alfredo Canton.
 
  United Way Panamá signs an agreement with the UMECIT and UAM universities
United Way Panama has signed a cooperation agreement with the Metropolitan University of Education, Science and Technology (UMECIT) and the American University (UAM) to work with the Big Hearts program.
