Student United Way – Academia Interamericana de Panamá estuvo, por tercer año consecutivo, en el Student United Way Leadership Retreat del 9 de Septiembre al 11 de Septiembre, en Alexandria, Virginia. Por parte de SUW-AIP, 15 estudiantes voluntarios participaron en diferentes charlas, talleres, y experiencias de liderazgo, junto a otros capítulos de Student United Way.
La conferencia inició con una charla por el CEO de United Way, Brian Gallagher, donde se conversó acerca de como las nuevas generaciones están cambiando el mundo de diferentes maneras disruptivas, y la importancia de poner a la comunidad primero a la hora de trabajar proyectos de transformación social.
Aparte, durante los tres días de la conferencia, y junto a otros panelistas, los estudiantes pudieron conversar acerca de innovación, voluntariado, organización de proyectos, y diferentes tipos de liderazgo.
Student United Way – Academia Interamericana de Panama goes, for the third consecutive year, to the Student United Way Leadership Retreat
Student United Way – Academia Interamericana de Panamá was, for the third consecutive year, in the Student United Way Leadership Retreat from September 9th thru September 11th in Alexandria, Virginia. As a part of SUW-AIP, 15 student volunteers participated in different talks, workshops, and leadership experiences, along with other university and high school chapters of Student United Way.
The conference kicked off with a talk by United Way CEO Brian Gallagher about how the new generations are changing the world in different disruptive ways, and the importance of putting the community first when it comes to working on social transformation projects.
In addition, during the three days of the conference, along with other panelists, students were able to talk about innovation, volunteering, project organization, and different types of leadership.
