Este año, Student United Way – AIP recibió el reconocimiento al Mejor Capítulo Estudiantil 2015 en su retiro de liderazgo anual en Alexandria, Virginia. Este reconocimiento se otorga por parte de United Way Worldwide al capítulo de Student United Way a nivel mundial, donde cada año destacan la labor de estudiantes líderes, organizaciones estudiantiles exitosas, y proyectos innovadores.

El capítulo de Student United Way AIP fue fundado en el 2013, siendo el primer capítulo en Latinoamérica, con el objetivo de fortalecer los esfuerzos voluntarios de la escuela alrededor de la misión de United Way Panamá. Más de 100 estudiantes desde séptimo hasta duodécimo grado están comprometidos con la causa de Student United Way, siendo voluntarios de los proyectos del grupo con el objetivo de avanzar el bien común.

Student United Way – Academia Interamericana de Panamá won the Best Student Campus of the Year award

This year, Student United Way – AIP received the Best Campus of the Year award during its annual leadership retreat in Alexandria, Virginia.. This award is given by United Way Worldwide to top performing Student United Way chapters, along with awards for student leaders and most successful and innovative projects.

Student United Way – AIP was founded in 2013, the first Student United Way chapter in Latin America with the objective of strengthening the voluntary efforts of the school around United Way Panama´s mission. More than 100 students from seventh through twelfth grade are committed to  advancing the common good by engaging in volunteering and community impact projects.
