The Mundial del Barrio participants travel with scholarships to the Escuela de Fútbol Argentino
  In May, United Way awarded scholarships to Panamanians José Hernández, Jorge Mendez, and Johan Hernandez to attend the Escuela de Fútbol Argentino.  
   
‘Feria Yo Reciclo’ & Student United Way Join Forces
  Student United Way participated in the Feria Yo Reciclo, organized by Roba Morena, in the American Academy of Panama, where they were promoting their volunteer programs.  
   
"Born Learning" Organized Parent Workshops
  Under the Born Learning program, United Way Panama has been conducting workshops for parents, joining forces with the pre-schools in the communities where we work to create more leadership and development opportunities.  
   
24 Teacher CEFACEI are Trained With Banistmo & Argos
  In June 24 CEFACEI teachers from the regions of Panama Este and Oeste, San Miguelito, Colon, and Penonomé were trained as a part of the program 'Born Learning' in order to boost their skills and improve the quality of education of their centers.  
   
"Born Learning" Organized Math Olympics
  The first Math Olympics for preschoolers where held in June. The Olympics where organized as a compliment of the Born Learning with 90 children from 6 pre-schools participants from Panama. With activities like this, early learning and children’s experiences in logical-mathematical area are reinforced.  
   
Visiting Penonomé & David with the ‘Escuchando a la Comunidad’ Project
  During the month of June, United Way Panama, together with partners Global Shapers Panama and Unidos por la Educación, traveled to Penonomé in Cocle, and David, Chiriqui, to present the project 'Listening to the Community'.  
   
Construction of Park at San Pedro de Cerro Azul
  Volunteers from AES, Caterpillar, Copa Airlines, Hewlett Packard and Procter & Gamble donated their time, skills and abilities to beautify the community of San Pedro in Cerro Azul. More than 70 people gathered in the community of San Pedro to paint...  
   
P&G organizes Medical Tour in Kuna Nega
  In collaboration with the Ministry of Health and volunteers from Power Home & Family Care at Procter & Gamble Panama, a medical and dental tour was organized in the Health Center Kuna Nega, in Ancon, where over 150 children in the community...  
   
 
P & G Inaugurates the CEFACEI Quiero Aprender
  In June, the group of volunteers from the GBS unit of P&G inaugurated the CEFACEI ‘Quiero Aprender’, to which a lot of infrastructure improvements where made.  
   
Volunteers from CITI organize the First Workshop on "Finance for Change"
  During April 19 volunteers from CITI organized the first workshops for Finance For Change to supplement the sessions that seniors of the Colegio Elena Chávez de Pinate.
