En colaboración con la Fundación Tu Panamá te Necesita y dentro del marco de su iniciativa “Un Día por mi Panamá”, se presentó la campaña #despiertapanama en el Festival Abierto 2014.  Durante el evento, el público podía pasar a presenciar un corto video que presentaba a un Panamá en el año 2030, totalmente distinto al que conocemos, producto de no ejercer nuestro deber participativo en la democracia del país.  El propósito de esta campaña es el de mostrar lo importante del efecto de nuestras decisiones en el futuro de Panamá, y hacer entrever al público, que la respuesta de muchos problemas que nos inquietan esta en nosotros como ciudadanos.

#DespiertaPanamá in Festival Abierto 2014

In collaboration with the Foundation Tu Panama Te Necesita and within the framework of its «A Day F My Panama», the #despiertapanama movement was launched in the Festival Abierto 2014. During the event, the public could witnessed a short video that presented Panama as a country in 2030 – completely different to what we know – as a result of not exercising our duty in our participatory democracy. The purpose of this campaign is to show how important the impact of our decisions are on the future of Panama, and hints that the answer to many problems that worry us as citizens are in our hands.

United Way Panama applauds the effort of the whole team behind the Festival Abierto who, once again, managed to gather hundreds of Panamanians while promoting art and culture in our country. UWP greatly thanks the ‘Tu Panama Te Necesita’ and ‘Tomorrow’ agency team, with their collaboration in this wonderful initiative.
